Peanut Butter Banana Coffee Smoothie

If you’re like so many of us here at Century Coffee Club, mornings are busy and getting a healthy breakfast means grabbing a cup of coffee and a banana while we’re walking out the door. This peanut butter banana espresso smoothie combines breakfast and coffee in a delicious easy to make drink that is travel friendly. The best part is that it takes under 3 minutes to make!

 

The ingredients are some Century Coffee Club Main Street Medium capsules, half of a cup of your choice of milk, a banana, one and a half teaspoon of peanut butter, some ice and some cocoa powder for garnish. All you have to do is throw in the coffee, milk, banana and peanut butter into the blender and give it an initial blend. Then add the ice cubes and continue blending until the consistency is smooth and creamy!

 

We’ve seen quite a few variations at Century Coffee Club; Some skip the ice cubes and use frozen bananas instead. You can even add a little protein powder to give that morning booster and extra boost!

Instructions:

  1. Brew a double shot of Century Coffee Club Mainstreet Medium espresso.
  2. Pour coffee, milk, banana, and peanut butter in the blender and give it an initial blend.
  3. Add ice to blender and blend until consistency is smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour smoothie into a glass and sprinkle some cocoa powder over.
  5. Enjoy!
